Some holiday fun at the Kentucky Horse Park. We drove through and saw all there really cool lights. We went to the petting zoo and had a really fun time together.

Makai was the cutest little Hula Girl at her ballet recital. She just loves being on the stage cheesing it up for everyone. Daddy got her some pink daisies and we all went out for pink ice cream afterwards.

Makai and Beck are so excited for Christmas. Makai has
a list that can rival anyones. We are all looking forward
to a really fun holiday season!

Happy Halloween! Our pretty little Ariel and our silly little Gorilla. We had such a fun time. We went to our ward's Trunk or Treat, carved pumpkins, went trick or treating and had two other Halloween parties. We have more treats than you can imagine. What fun memories!

Makai and Kelsey Blood. These two girls just love to play princesses, puppies, kitties and everything in between! They have so much fun together. They love pink and anything girly.

He loves playing dressup (wonder who he got that from?) We got him a Superman costume, but he still loves all of Makai's frilly costumes.

Beck is eighteen months old. He is totally crazy, obsessed with balls and keeps us all smiling.

On Labor Day we went with some friends to Shaker Town and had a fun picnic with the kids. We finished up the day with a relaxing and very scenic boat ride down the Kentucky River. What a fun day!

What a fun day! The kids had so much and we all enjoyed just being outside. Fall is just the best time of year!

Hanging out at the pumpkin patch on a beautiful fall day (actually it was about 90 degrees and we were all so hot and sweaty). Grandma and Grandpa Morgan are visiting so we went to Evans Orchard for a fun day of pumpkins, really cool tube slides, apple orchards, pony rides and a fun petting zoo. Everyone had a really great time. I just love the Fall.

Beck's big beautiful smile! Ike loves to squirt Beck and Makai in the tub with ice cold water. After beck squirms and takes a freeze, he gives the cutest smile ever just begging Daddy for more!

Makai loves to get all dolled up for preschool (Mommy loves to get her all done up too.) She is very particular about her outfit and won't leave without a slick of lip gloss. She truly is my girl.

We love going to the park. If it's not too hot we go every afternoon. Beck has learned how to go down the slide all by himself and he just loves it!

Makai's first day of Preschool. She attends MySchool one day a week for 3 1/2 hours. Her class name is the Apple Dumplings. She insisted that for the first day of school she had to have her hair straightened. It's her favorite! She loves playing on the playground, cooking time and music. She gets so excited to see all of her friends, but the most important part is the treat in her princess lunch bag! She is too cute!

Bedtime fun! Bedtime consists of dinner which entails Beck wanting to feed himself while holding the spoon upside down and launching the food like a football when he's had enough: Fighting with Makai to stay in her chair, telling her to eat her vegetables or she doesn't get a treat and setting a timer because she likes to take a half hour to eat her meal. Then we move on to tubbies which involves splashing water all over the floor, hooting at Beck to sit down (he likes to shoot hoops standing up) and Makai crying because she's sure she has soap in her eyes. Tubbies end with a nude little man running around because he doesn't want to get his jammies on and Makai wanting to wear a princess nightgown that is way too hot. After tubbies it's time for Popsicles which is about the cutest thing. They both swap licks of each other's Popsicles and Ike takes a massive bite out of each of them. Then we move on to story time. Makai picks two books which are usually the same two each night until Mommy has had enough! A current favorite right now is Bunny Cakes. Then Daddy brushes teeth usually without too much drama. You just have to chase Beck around and pin him down. Then it's time for family prayer, Grammy's Song and hugs and kisses all around. Makai is usually asleep in two minutes and Beck hoots for about 30 minutes and then we check on him and sure enough we have to change his diaper. Then it takes him about 30 more minutes before he stops playing and chattering and falls asleep.
