Weekend with the Price's

The adorable price kids bike riding! My awesome friend Christa drove all the way down from Lexington to watch my kids along with her three kids for the entire weekend!! What a life saver! I had to go to Nashville to train for Body Pump and of course Ike was working all weekend. It's safe to say the kids had a great weekend playing with their friends and Makai adores Miss Christa! They were all in one piece and Christa was still sane by the time I got home. We love you Price family and can't thank you enough!

Fun Times with Grammy and Pops!

We had the best time ever when Grammy and Pop Pop visited! We sure do love and miss them so much. We went to Chucky E. Cheese, a boat ride, the Smokey Mountains, Cracker Barrel, shopping (one of my personal favorites!) and we did tons of chatting and sight seeing. I have missed my parents so much. Makai and Beck sure loved being with them. One night Beck got out of his bed and climbed into bed with Pop Pop! How cute is that! We had the best time ever and I can't wait for them to come again.

Loving Lexington!

This weekend we decided to visit some of our friends in Lexington. We had such a great time. I have missed my friends there and so have the kids. We had a great sleepover and an awesome time at Chick-fil-A with the Price's. Then we hung out with Page and Destiny which is always fun. Then we visited the Tippets and had a nice pizza dinner with them. We love all are friends in Lexington and we're so happy they're only two hours away! We can't wait to see them all again!

Preschool Time!

Makai started preschool on Tuesday. She absolutely loves it! They have a super fun playground and she's obsessed with coloring. She made some new friends that she is very excited about. Beck is only going once a week and had an absolute fit when he didn't get to stay at preschool. It was fun to have some one on one time with him I have to admit. We got to hang out at the library and read whatever he wanted and he got a new coloring book. On Thursday Beck got to go to school and he had so much fun. He had a great day with no accidents!!! He loved playing outside and for lunch he ate his cookies and some carrots. What a meal! Preschool is so much fun they both just love it. I'm sure on Tuesday when Beck gets to have alone time with Mommy instead of staying at preschool a meltdown will ensue!

Smokey Mountains

We had the best time with our friends the Reeds. We both had the Saturday off so we headed up to the mountains. It was gorgeous and the weather was great. We got to ride in the back of Luke's truck so we could see some pretty cool animals. We saw a black bear, wild turkeys, deer and that's about it! We had a grill out, played in the creek, ate smores and had a great day. I can't wait to go back.

Beck Asleep on the Stairs!

Beck gets out of his room and ends up on Makai's floor asleep a lot, but for some reason he thought it would be a great idea to sleep at the top of the stairs....not a very safe idea!

Fun Times with the Tippett's!

One of my best friend's Niki and her cute kids came to visit us from Lexington. We had so much fun! We went to a sprinkler park, had a great sleepover (none of the kids ended up sleeping in the same room)and went to the zoo. I had so much fun being with Niki and Makai and Beck just love Tyler and Clark. They both loved Baby Benson and always wanted to hold him. We sure had a fun time!

The Crew!

We had fun picnic down by the lake with our friends. Jack, Mickelson and Miles are all such cute kids. Makai and Beck just love to play with them. We get together at least once a week.

Twins

Ike gave Beck buzz so now I think it's safe to say they could pass for twins!

The Last Day at Our Pool

Our pool closed this week and I'm going to miss it! We all had such a great time swimming there. Makai is such a great swimmer she can't get enough of it. Beck is getting to be so brave. He loves to jump in and swim with his noodle. We have all loved having the pool just across the street. Good times....

Beck's New Big Boy Bed

Beck has a new "big boy" bed. We don't have a bed frame yet which is a good thing because he has rolled off it a time or two! He looks so little in his huge bed. The first few nights I found him asleep on the floor or he would sneak in Makai's room and sleep on her floor. What a nut!
